Actually the film slated to release on Oct 22nd but due to some reasons it was postponed to Nov 11th. According to film Nagar sources “Akhil” movie is facing release troubles where Overseas distributors are not satisfied with its release date. If we go in details, the movie is releasing on a Wednesday (Nov 11th) and the Premieres in Overseas will be screened on Tuesday which is a working day. Normally Overseas audience will be extremely busy with their jobs on working days and will not come to the theatres and the weekend is also far away. If the talk and reviews are bad or if the piracy is out, the movie may not do well even in the weekend too. Hence this date is not so good for the Overseas business. According to reports film Overseas distribution rights are bought for 5 crores unofficially and officially it is only 2.5 crores, as debut hero film the market of the film is very slow in overseas. Some conflicts are going on in this movie distribution rights in financial transaction as well as the partners. Buyers are not showing interest to purchase rights to their respective areas. Exceptions of this movie are not up to the mark in overseas business and the release date also creating problems for buyers in Overseas. Sources say that some buyers who already bought the film in some areas in Overseas are stepping back to screen the film and forcing the distributor to change the release date. Let us wait and see will producer Nithin will change the release date for sack of Overseas market or will go ahead. Sizzling beauty Sayesha Saigal made onscreen romance with Akhil in this movie. This film is being Akhil Akkineni’s debut film the expectations are very high. Recent release of its audio scored by music directors Thaman and Anup Rubens are also not impressed the music lovers. Nithin & his father Sudhakar Reddy produced the film under Sreyst Movies Banner which is directed of V.V. Vinayak.

There was hope among the small producers that Akhil would be delayed further so that they could cash in on the Diwali weekend. With Akhil release confirmed on November 11, smalltime producers are running away for safety. This is one of the biggest releases of the year and is riding on high expectations. Telugu audiences are eagerly waiting to see Akkineni Prince on screen. Buyers are making sure to book maximum theaters for this film to cash in on the craze. Huge number of screens are being locked for Akhil for two weeks leaving no scope for other movies. Nikhil’s Shankarabharanam presented by Kona Venkat was supposed to release on November 20, but it is now pushed to December 4th. Smalltime filmmakers are staying out of Akhil’s way as they don’t want to mess with this biggie directed by top director VV Vinayak. Almost fifty crore is riding on this film, which is a huge amount for a newcomer. Buyers are pretty confident of recovering the investment within ten days if the movie lives up to expectations
