Forest officials filed cases on TDP MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar and his followers for allegedly laying roads through forest lands in the limits of Kolleru lake. Though prohibitory orders are in force, the MLA's followers laid a road linking Komatilanka and Atapaka in Kolleru Sanctuary. They used 70 tractors and constructed the road overnight. Chintamaneni earlier asked Minister Kamineni to build the road within 40 days
