In the name of communal harmony a terrorist Tipu Sultan was shown as a staunch freedom fighter against the British, while he fought to establish islamic empire.In the words of Ravi Varma, one of the contributors to the anthology: “It was Tipu Sultan and his fanatic Muslim army who of Karnataka.
