Can a car leased to Mr X be driven by Mr Y in different state?

The car is leased in Portland for an year with 2 more years left in the lease term.. planning to get it to Atlanta..

 

Do we need to inform Car showroom about this? the person is trying to send to his brother for a 6 month period..after that it will go back to portland..

 

anyone had any info how this works? Do we have to get it transferred? Thanks

insurance vaadiki oosari call cheyi...naaku doubt kodthandi as lien holder vere vaadu...leasse is MR.X. i don't think insurance vaadu will accept brothers, sisters as co-owners unless they are all to be leasse.

 

i think another route will be group insurance. you add both vehicles into insurance. so this way Mr.Y is covered for the car of Mr.X.

Update - BMW showroom gadu OK annadu - they just have to add Mr Y name into lease.. so ownership related no issues..
