Due to the impact of depression, heavy rains lashed Rayalaseema and coastal districts in the last 24 hours. So far, 23 persons have died in various parts of Andhra Pradesh on Monday due to rain related incidents. Normal life paralysed with water flowing on roads and power outages. The SCR officials have diverted some passenger trains and cancelling some other trains. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the situation and directed officials concerned to keep NDRF and revenue staff alert to take up rescue and relief operations.
