Suggestions On Thailand Trip For Honeymoon

I am planning to go to Phuket for my honeymoon in the mid of January. Usually how much does it costs for 4 nights and 5 days trip. Is it better to go for packages in travel sites or to book hotel and flights individually? what are the main attractions in Phuket . Can we cover any other places near by besides Phuket?   If any body visited please give your suggestions.
