Moreover the owner has to register the house as rental property and pay taxes. Most of our desis they don't register their houses as rental property and simply rent it out. So in ur case if the owner has not registered his property as rental property than that will be a big headache for him and it is considered as IRS tax fraud. So usually they don't get involved in those issues and he may return ur deposit if you say him that are proceeding with attorney.
