Chiru house flooded with Cong leaders

Ever since Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi announced that his party would have alliance with the Congress party, there is a constant flow of Congress leaders to his Jubilee Hills residence and also the PRP office.

In fact, for the last two days, Chiru’s residence looked more like a Congress office rather than the PRP office. On Friday, chief minister K Rosaiah called up Chiranjeevi and thanked him for his cooperation in the Rajya Sabha elections. On Saturday, third-time elect Congress Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao personally went to the residence of the PRP president and thanked him for his cooperation.

A large number of MLAs, MLCs and PCC leaders also flooded Chiranjeevi’s residence and said they would have common plans and strategies to counter the TDP. In the assembly, too, they said they would have floor coordination with the PRP MLAs. Interestingly, several PRP MLAs were seen shaking hands with the Congress leaders. The sooner the PRP changes its party flag to tricolour, the better for the party.
