Her dowry harassment case against Subramanyam is pending with CCS for the past two years. The couple, living separately since she filed the first case, has a 12-year-old son. SR Nagar Police registered a case and issued notice to Subramanyam after the new complaint was filed on Friday. Kousalya, a native of Guntur district, married her childhood friend Subramanyam about 15 years ago. Two years ago, differences arose between them, following which she filed the case. A few days ago, he called Kousalya on her mobile phone and allegedly abused her. She then approached the SR Nagar Police. A case under sections 506 (criminal intimidation) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) was registered.
