One of the leading two wheeler manufacturer Hero has showcased its new hydrogen fuel cell concept vehicle known as iON at the Auto Expo Event 2014. The new bike will feature an advanced Li-Air batteries and super capacitors for smooth energy needs while braking and acceleration. It may generate the maximum speed of about 300 kmph along with idle speed of 160 kmph. The dimensions in terms of its length, width and height are 1962 mm, 431 mm and 955 mm respectively. Along with that, the bike will provide the wheelbase of 1388 mm and ground clearance of around 203 mm. The Hero iON will be fitted with an electronically controlled regenerative with ABS enhancing the braking efficiency. Similarly, the front suspension of the bike will have an electro-magnetic with anthropomorphic linkage and the rear suspension will be road vision controlled damping response. The new iON is expected to be priced approximately Rs.75,000.
