Santa Clara Valley Medical Center: Police Lift Lockdown After Reported Sighting of Armed Man 

The hospital was placed under lockdown Thursday afternoon after hospital officials received a report of an armed person on campus. Police are searching for the reportedly armed man who left the site.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- San Jose police said no threat was found at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center after someone reported seeing an armed person at the hospital, which prompted a shelter-in-place order this afternoon.
