The songs of popular rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh has helped the farmers in Nainital in Uttarakhand to protect their agricultural fields from wild pigs and other animals. Wild pigs were such a threat to the farmers and their fields that the government has declared them as pests and sanctioned their culling. However this hasn't helped much, so the farmers came up with an idea which worked wonders for them. They have installed huge loudspeakers and played the hits of Yo Yo Honey Singh and other Punjabi singers at high volumes which drove away wild pigs.
