Fate of NRI's in india

Okay so have any of u guys ever noticed that most of the indian movies these days, especially telugu movies, are portraying nri's as ppl who have been accustomed to america and are like leaving indian culture or sumtin... I feel like this is a real big stereotype..

Whenever i go to india, my friends judge me and treat me as if i know nothing about india and as if im like a foreigner or something.. Well the truth is i can speak telugu better than them and i bet i do know as much about the culture as they do

for example, namaste london kinda shows that the gurl is like a really stuck up jerk just cuz she dresses that way... And even in devdas, the evil villain guy teases the actress that she would like date everyone for sexual purposes just cuz she's from the states

im not sayin im a perfect telugu person cuz i definitely dont dress that way!.. And yea i do curl my hair occasionally and i listen to most westernmusic

but hey cmon dont judge me or any of the other nri's on the way we look or talk cuz that doesnt mean we dont know and practice indian culture as much as the people in india
