argadorn Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 who told you man about 180 days ani, adi 485 filing tarvatha 180 days undali dani tarvatha employer ki control potundi nee i140 withdraw paina. 180 days period anedi I485 apply chesaka. i140 approve ayyaka anytime ( after 1 day also)nuvvu kotha employer ki vellochu with PD retain. there is no such 180 days concept here. employer anytime i140 winthdraw chesukovachu even after 180 days or 240 days also he can withdraw ur i140 but PD will be retained and u need to start GC process from PERM again with new employer but good thind is PD date alane untadi old di. +1111

Recently rules have changed to not to port priority date if old employer revokes I-140)., Otherwise you are fine. If the officer doesn't know the rule, u will get date porting though your old employer revokes i-140.

ennnna chata Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 You need to be with old employer for at least 180 days after your I-140 is approved........then you can shift to new employer, start PERM and I-140 again and retain old PD. check with you attorney again. As long as your I-140 is not revoked by your old employer
