Just like you celebrate holi with colours, certain sections of the people in Visakhapatnam district celebrate Sewage festival. They use branches of trees to scoop out the muck in open drains and rub it on each other. These celebrations have a legend behind them and it is being practised since ages. Also they celebrate, 'Veduru' festival, with bambood sticks, in which they hit each other with sticks.
