help me Moneygram Scam

One of my friends on H1, got a phone call from random number, told him that his records are showing some fraud tax filing and warned him not to tell anyone, asked him to come to some random place. They threatened him to arrest him if he is not going to pay the money immediately. They made him withdraw $3000 from his BOA account and took him to Walmart, made him transfer the money through MoneyGram. He got scared with their approach and did everything what they said. Meanwhile, his wife figured out online that this could be a scam and called him. He immediately called 911 and made a police complaint. After coming home, within 2 hours he called MoneyGram and asked them to cancel the transaction but they said the money was already withdrawn from the other party.

 

Have guys heard this kind of story?? Is there anyway, he can get back his money?? CITI#H@

Already complaint file chesadu ga....antha daring kaadule bhayya ...phone call chesi bediristhe velli $3000 guddi ga ichi vachadu....

ATB in getting his $$ back
