The Girl on the Train.

If you trash like Gone Girl, you'll like this one too, when it is made, which it will be going by how popular this novel is.

I picked this book up yesterday and I'm going to spoil it for you now. Thanks in advance @3$%

Man tries to impregnate his wife. no luck. But he impregnates another girl, so he leaves his wife for the girl.

then a neighbour girl is missing. wife is curious about her, joins hands with the other girl his husband impregnated to find out more. Turns out his husband impregnated the neighbour girl too, and killed her.

This is the kind of trash people read now. @3$%

okay. The books I enjoyed in 2015. Most of these are fiction.

1. When Nietzsche Wept - Part fiction

2. The Illicit happiness of other people

3.  Neuromancer - Science Fiction

4. The ode less travelled, unlocking the poet within

5. Revelation Space - Science Fiction

6. Farthest field: An Indian story of the second world war - Part Fiction.

Now please don't ask me why I picked up Girl on Train. I picked 10 other bullshit ones this year. I never seem to learn which reviews to trust :(

I have started to read after a gap of more than 10 yrs, so I'll probably get better.

Light I didn't like this book that much either.

Read "All the light you can't see" it's much better.

But the next Hollywood Blockbuster is surely going to be "The Revenant"

If I did that, I would have to skip my favourite type of books - Science Fiction.

Neuromancer, Revelation Space were top class books. But I couldn't have known it just by reading the prologue. They are not contemporary science fiction, but they came heavily recommended.

I took another such recommendation and read Leviathan Wakes. What a bore that was.

Its always hit and go, atleast for me. Plus, I whine about too many things, and would find it uncomfortable if I liked everything that came my way :)
