Mega Power Star Ram Charan is failing again and again to deliver a true commercial blockbuster after Magadheera. Racha, Nayak and Yevadu were not super hits, but average to above average grossers. Charan is in confusion whether to pick complete mass subject to please his mass fans or family scripts to gain class and other section audience support, for his next films.

While Charan accepted Govindudu Andarivadele to attract families, he did Bruce Lee with Sreenu Vaitla to extend his market in overseas. Both the efforts turned unproductive owing to poor making from respective makers. Especially, Bruce Lee turned out as disaster in all the centers. Even, fans rejected the film, despite Chiranjeevi's presence in a cameo role.

This time, Charan picked to remake Tamil sleeper hit Thani Oruvan with director Surender Reddy to helm the project. Chiru has bought his old friends Paruchuri Brothers to pen Telugu version script. Earlier, Charan had bad experience with the outdated writers who were involved in Govindudu Andarivadele script writing.

Paruchuri Brothers were rnonce successful writers and had associated with Chiranjeevi for many films. But, due to age and other factors, they couldn't give best like earlier. So, it is a brave decision by the makers to involve Paruchuri Brothers in Thani Oruvan script work!
