Mega Brother Naga Babu's son Varun Tej who attracted with different genre films like Mukunda and Kanche is getting ready to show his mass power with Loafer directed by Puri Jagannath on Dec 17th.
According to Film Nagar sources Loafer plot unfolds in this fashion. Posani Krishna Murali along with his kid leaves his wife Revathi due to some differences and raises him as Loafer in Jodhpur. Varun who turns Loafer falls for heroine Disha Patani who sometime back meets Revathi.
Disha however gets kidnapped and Varun Tej who goes in search of her, happens to see Revathi and recognizes her as his mother. He expresses his desire to stay with her but Revathi puts a condition that he should first save Disha Patani.
As the film progresses one comes to know that Mukesh Rishi, brother of Revathi turns out to be lead villain who plans to get Disha Patani married to rich guy Ali to get his mines. Ali appears only in the second half while Brahmanandam too in the second half but sparkle only for ten minutes.
First half is average but ends with good interval bang. Second half is much better than the first half. Second half is loaded with sentiment. Song shot on Varun Tej and Revathi is the highlight in the film. Production values left lot to be desired. On the whole Loafer is a above average entertainer.

Macho Man Gopichand who tasted decent hits with Loukyam and Jil is getting ready to entertain viewers with Soukhyam. He is romancing Regina Cassandra in the film directed by AS.Ravikumar Chowdhary.
Film Nagar is abuzz with the film's talk and as per reports it is not that encouraging. Sources feel the film is not upto the mark and Gopichand may receive huge shock in the lines of his previous film Wanted which turned out to be a disaster in 2011.

Anand Prasad is producing the film on Bhavya Creations. Film has a cast of Brahmanandam, Posani Krishna Murali, Showcaru Janaki, Jayaprakash Reddy, Raghu Babu, Krishna Bhagavan, Mukesh Rishi, Deva, Prithvi, Raghu, Sivaji Raja and Surekha Vani with Anup Rubens being the music director.
