Yemi kadhu.... I travelled this past May. I carried 4 iphones (3 iphone6 and 1-iphone5s)
I carried 2 phones in my cabin suitcase. And other 2 phones I placed them In 2 of my check-in baggages - split 1 each baggage.

During custom check - I had one phone in my pocket and other phone in my cabin luggage. I did not have any issues

And for you - both your iphone5s are used phones, so shouldn't be any issue.
For the new phones say one is personal and the other phone is for office use
