cool_dood Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 avg contractor income in us pm = + 5000 after taxes(lets just assume) rent+cc+car+miscellaneous = - 2000 lets just say u r job less jack for upto 6 months (12k savings to cover ur min maintenance ) Loan in india = -50 lakhs interest pm = 50,000 (interest + principle ki 2000$ pm) lets just say u r job less jack for upto 6 months (12k usd) based on the above statistics - if u already have at least 25K savings apart from whatever u r going to pay down to the loan and it will take upto 7 yrs to get it paid off and for u to own ur apt. PS : u ll need to consider ur other payment responsibilities if any and include them in the above calculations.
