Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is learnt to be suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, which gradually causes loss of memory.

According to senior Congress leader K V P Ramachandra Rao, Naidu is suffering from memory loss. He said he had credible information that Naidu was suffering with Alzheimer's, which was in the early stages. He said TDP leader who were close to Naidu had informed him about Naidu’s symptoms.

KVP feared that Naidu’s loss of memory may adversely affect that his governance of the State.

The senior Congress MP recalled that both US former President Ronald Regan and senior politician George Fernandez have withdrawn themselves from the public life once they were detected with the disease.
