I-94 expire ayithe, has to leave the country. He is out of status and accumalating illegal stay.

naa job 2012 lo poyindi. India ki vellipoya... 2014 lo malli vere company apply chesindi H1B ki. As long as H1 6 years avakunte problem avadu..

 

but mee friend ki I-94 expire ayindi antunnav kada, ask him to leave to India asap. i-94 expire ayyaka unte, H1 approval and stamping lo problems avuthai. he is accumulating illegal stay.

AFAIK, H1/I797 valild unnanta varaku no need to worry about i94. Avi invalid aithe you don't bother checking about i94. You have to leave or have COS immediately.

 

I find all this i94 stuff silly discussing here.

H1B expired aithe ... extension petition pending aithe 240(approx.) days or aa extension approval/denial vachevaraku work cheyachu. Denial vaste out of status... have to get out of country and then try for employer change.

naku job poyinappudu vallu withdraw chesaru. I contacted a lawyer with Murthy firm. She said that I am out of status and becoz I still have i-94 valid, not accumulating illegal stay...

ma friend ki h1 first extension denied  after responding to rfe (employer employee relationship).Don't know reason for denial , waiting for the notice.what options he has now...his current h1 visa and i-94 expired.Can he transfer to another company now without leaving the country?...please suggest.Thanks
