Checking financials and asking basic questions is what VO has to do. if 1000s students are going to some junk universities it should ring some bell for VO. VO is liberal Customs has much more traffic than regular VO traffic. VO has to clear candidate check him properly.. and embassies come under DHS. Agreed vuncle.. ( rest of the cities are little better because they don't have few falthoo brokers compared to what we have in Hyderabad) The second problem is even if we have councellers we don't have students enough patience to go to them for councelling. When I planned for USA in 2007 I had enough information to apply for univ and applied my self reading addmission procedures also I went to different workshops conducted by visu etc and realised most universities suggested by them are commission based and not worthy..then went to private councellers who councelled students to USA, Australia and have regular connection with students about university and funding status etc. They charged me 3000 rupees at that time for councelling. These people are very professional and recommended my friends who are going to cheap second grade profit universities not join.They where based in California. So problem today is students have no patience to do self research, they are walking in to footpath brokers and asking them cheap and best universities right away. They are also paying money for getting other stuff ( ielets).

We don't have any other option except accepting the facts..
vokatonumberkurrodu Posted December 22, 2015 Report Posted December 22, 2015 Problem is with US all consulates must have updated list of sham colleges...so that any I-20 from these schools should be rejected visas at india itself... these SHAM colleges they should be closed for good in USA...so that students dont transfer to these colleges... valu visa isthene veelu flight ekkutharu kada... and these sham colleges give I-20 easily without credentials asala regular university admission process is lengthy...grad school nee application packet review chesaka concerned department ki pamputundhi...aa department lo oka chair will decide whether to give admission or not... students thappu enti ante applying for these sham colleges because its the only way to come to US.
