there is no such thing as base emotion......there is only priority......how valuable you perceive something ??.......which again depends on your circumstances/needs and none the less "time"......(time in the sense of....at that point of time)

 

so your personal circumstance/need/time...will ultimately judge your attitude for something....

 

 

I'm mad about BMW today...may be after 5 years...I start loving Porsche...that doesn't mean...my love for bmw NOW is fake!!

 

In red is absolutely not true.. i don't believe humans are driven by Priority at all.. we are discussing emotions can be staged/forged.. you are saying priority drives emotion. What is the correlation? We are not even talking about Materialistic things like cars gc etc.. 

 

there are base emotions you do experience it.. as you evolve emotions evolve too..but for the good or bad its  up to the individual..

coming to first ques.. I dont think emotions can be faked... the cause of emotion must be replicated to regenerate it
