dotnetrockz Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Due to concerns regarding the lithium batteries used in hoverboards (balance boards, gravity boards, self-balancing devices, etc.), effective Saturday, December 12, 2015, Southwest Airlines will not transport hoverboards in either checked luggage or as a carryon item. We ask Customers to keep this in mind when traveling this holiday season. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the Safety of our Customers and Employees must always come first.
