ravula Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 A day after six security personnel were martyred and four Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists neutralized in the operations at the Pathankot Air Force base on Saturday, the fidayeens led a fresh attack on Sunday after remaining hidden for more than 17 hours in the 1,600-acre defence installation, killing an NSG Lt Col and taking the toll of Indian casualties to seven. At the time of going to the press, two more fidayeens were holed up at the base and the operation by security forces to flush them out was on. The government, which claimed credit for a successful operation on Saturday, played cautiously while saying 'operation was not over yet'.
