india lo unna account ni NRO account ki change cheyyinchochu but u need to send documents i guess. for NRE account you need to send all documents and you can open from usa.

customer care support waste man for NRI, they always ask you to contact account holding branch. If we email to branch they don't even check due to busy schedule.
