simply pay the fine and take the driving course to waive off the points on your record... so that insurance will not go high

In  some states they still have it in your record even if u take classes .. so check your state speeding ticket rules

Come up with a strong case and many court judges are lenient.. there was this story for refernce.. many of them didn't knew about it and paid the fines..
