google drive--> app back up

 

otherwise the local data will be something like "msgstore.db.crypt8" you can move the file and could import data.

since u have ios

you can back up to icloud.. settings lo ekkado untundhi chudu

 

kani when you reinstall it ( assuming u delete the app and reinstall after the os is reinstalled) 

u can restore the backup of whatsapp messages back to ur phone 

 

PS: videos backup kaavu....icloud backup lo.. just chats and pics.

 

if you just need chats, you can email all of them to ur email.this option is there since ages.

was able to back up photos and videos with 'Free iTunes backup extractor'

You can archive the chats or else take the backup, which will be stored on cloud in Iphone.
