Yo bro! i was pretty serious about the above comment.. i dinn pass a sattire.. certain elements you don't understand why he did, you will only relate if you have experienced extreme snow conditions.. Personally i have experienced such in intial years, was stuck in snow storm for an hour.. there was snow storm warning.. ah emaitadi ani nadchkuntu vella.. pungi paglindi..

Well that's what critics are saying..cuz most of the movie he doesn't have any dialogues.. Oscar performance wise he did a great job..I wouldn't rule out tom hardy too

True. As part of the shooting he also had to eat raw bison liver, raw fish apart from sleeping in animal carcasses, Leonardo is one actor in the modern generation apart from Christian Bale that can fit into any role convincingly. Tom Hanks was the same in the previous decade.

 

Most underrated actor however is Joaquin Phoenix.
