Guntur police 75 birds that were being breed for organising cock-fights during Sankranthi. They conducted surprise raids at Adiyanagar and seized the birds. One Vijay was said to be breeding the birds which are worth nearly Rs. 20 lakh. They also seized knives. Meanwhile, not only High Court (HC) but even Lok Ayukta has put breaks on cock-fights in Andhra Pradesh.
