apply for OCI, idivaraku POI ani undehi handled  thru some agency that indian consulates contracted that process.

 

Now i think it went to diff agencyt and they have renamed it as OCI, no difference

 

google for it, find their website, fill forms and pics, u might have to send the US original passport and original birth certificate to them

 

this should take anywhere between 25-45 days depending on case volumje
