India is underdeveloped because it is feudalistic, among other reasons. dalit orgs strive to change it. you may think their methods degrade Hindus, but that is the only way they can make themselves heard. being politically aware in college is not a bad thing at all. having done my college in singapore, I think that a political campus is more colorful than a techie one. not all dalit orgs are they same. So, you degrade one set of people to make ur self heard!!! really.....what a logic sirji...

Its called fighting back. they are actually fighting against their own dalit leaders, trying to make fellow dalits see that alternate politics is possible. that they don't have to play second fiddle to kammas, velamas, etc.

What do u mean by fighting back. First thing they wont vote without money. they will vote for the own caste people (applies to all castes)...and they will fight them...did not quite get the logic...Who told them to play fiddle. There is a next election; they can vote for a different candidate...
