It is their responsibility to keep peace.

They were richer than the sinhalese. It continued for a while after ceylon got its independence, until when sinhalese got together and decided that tamils shouldn't be allowed to vote. Tamils started to fight against this, through non-violence. and then through violence. tamils didn't run away enmasse at the first sign of trouble, like the pandits did. some of them stayed back to fight. some of them joined sinhalese to fight fellow tamils. it is pandits greatness that they didn't take to violence like kashmiri turakas even though they faced injustice. you are talking as if taking up arms, killing people and violence etc are great virtues.

Its also why they don't care about other identity based movements. 3. dalit movements show solidarity to similar movements, or atleast refrain from commenting negatively on them. basic thing is, lower castes can never win as a group, when they follow law and order, or when they fight back against unjust society. However I congratulate TRS for maintaining their distance from the HU suicide. But their supporters are not as decent as they are. dalit uncle .
