Am on H1 and have a gap of 29 days between my last employer and current employer..actually i got laid off by previous employer..so no paystubs for 1 month..does this effect Green card processing..when I spoke to my employer attorney,he said it might be issue at 485 stage...

Right now I am trying to get experience letter from previous employer..if he fills that gap,is it OK or do we need pays tub to prove that I am not out of status

Also I see there is rule called 245 (k)..that I could be without job for 180 days without affecting green card processing.

it wont and its pretty common to have gap when you change employers ... u will be in trouble if you stay out of status more than 180 consecutive date .. 485 gurinchi eppudu alochinchaku unna juttu oodipothadi :)
