Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Akhtar decide to separate after 16 years of marriage

Yet another fairytale romance has come to an end as one of the most stylish Bollywood couple, Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Akhtar have decided to call it quits. Rumours of their separation have been doing the rounds for quite some time and now the couple have announced about their separation.

Farhan Akhtar recently released a statement to the media saying "This is to announce that we, Adhuna and Farhan, have mutually and amicably decided to separate. Our children remain our priority and it is immensely important to us, as responsible parents, that they be protected from unwarranted speculation and public glare. We sincerely request that we are given the privacy that is required at this time to move forward in a dignified manner." Though there have been many speculations about the reason for their separation, the couple chose to remain silent about the same.

Farhan Akhtar married Adhuna Akhtar in the year 2000 and the couple has two children namely, Shakya and Akira Akhtar. While Farhan Akhtar is a famous actor, singer and filmmaker, Adhuna is a stylist and owns the popular salon and spa franchise BBlunt.
