As long as you don't sit on judgement over a guy (brilliant by any measure) who took a considered decision to kill himself, because you can't probably even aspire to be what he was, you should be fine. What did he aspire to become..please put that ina sentence ?

He's apparently so brilliant that he used the reservation policy that was in his favor to gain admission to the university. He's also so brave that he can't comply with the university policies the failure to adhere to which resulted in his suspension, and goes on to kill himself. The irony here is that the song describes a so called "Dalita Puli" when he killed himself like a "piriki pandi"

Everyone knows that he didn't use reservation quota to get his seat. So why even mention it? But the issue is bigger than one dalit student's suicide. It us about institutional bias against dalits in every sphere of life in India. I have been fortunate to work with some exciting and intelligent dalit youngsters from IIT Madras, and also dalit leader tirumavalavan in chennai. But it gives me great pleasure to note that dalits in tg/ap have also started to make their voice heard around India. I hope this continues and Telugu dalits show the mirror of caste discrimination to upper castes in ap/tg. It's so much fun to see these idiots lose their shyte over dalits who are brave enough to stand up to them.
