last year nenu fte ki convert ayya from consulting, i was into 7yr of my h1 then, fte ki h1 transfer file chesthe with approved i140 copy of old employer, i got 3-yr extension

3 years is the max, if employer is a consulting firm, USCIS now a days lookign at end client letters and the duration of the project in that letter and then issuing based on it. If the end client letter says 12 momths project the extension is given for 12 months.

 

 

if working for a end client directly, then 3 years extensions.
