Client said they can't change the designation( developer) in the letter,lca has software engineer but role description is same.

then simple solution change LCA. Both has to match one way or other way.

If it's 7th year extension the it shud match with PERM title also?

Why should it match client letter ...this is suspicious ...

LCA should.match only ur role in employer company not the client ..because ...u can be software engineer in ur company..according to client u are always a consultant ...

He might give u title technical consultant..while ur always a software engineer in ur company..

Even I was under the assumption that LCA title is Employer specific, but after this amendment rule it made me think the other way,

 

Why should it match client letter ...this is suspicious ...

LCA should.match only ur role in employer company not the client ..because ...u can be software engineer in ur company..according to client u are always a consultant ...

He might give u title technical consultant..while ur always a software engineer in ur company..
