14K miles less compared with 29k miles.

 

but, check it still has 36k or 3 years warranty valid by calling Honda customer care. you should have vin number.

 

to extend warranty it costs 2k$ + dollars. to extend warranty car should be in warranty period. most dealers wont accept to provide Honda  warranty if warranty is void/expired.

 

but, benefits of certified 

 

1)there should be 3 yrs warranty from the day you bought

 

or

 

2) up to 100k miles warranty.

 

warranty valid untill either 1 or 2 or both are true.

 

 

certified car check these.

 

1) has tires changed or not? if not bargain to change Michelin tires or cost reduction up to 500$ for tires.

Better bargain the dealer like

 

1) with new Michelin defender series tires. why because for certified car 90% tire life should be there.

 

2) Oil change coupons can get upto 5 coupons for free.

 

3) get some type of oil changes service up to 100k miles. costs 500$.

 

4) ask to change brake pads at least. usually at 30k certified dealer has to change brake pads.

 

 

no worry about other things for certified.
