ED To Arrest YS Jagan In Delhi?

Looks like the YSRCP president YS Jagan is in trouble yet again. Latest reports reveal that Jagan has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which asked him to go to New Delhi for an inquiry on Thursday. Jagan's auditor Vijayasai Reddy has also been issued notices by the ED.

Already, the CBI filed several charge-sheets on YS Jagan making him the prime accused in the quid pro quo scandal during his late father and ex-CM of AP YS Rajasekhara Reddy's reign where several corporate companies and private contractors invested huge amounts to the tune of several thousands of crores in Jagan's benami companies to receive favors from his father's government.

The ED officials, in their investigation, found numerous discrepancies in the statements given by YS Jagan and Vijayasai Reddy as compared to their investigative reports in the disproportionate assets case. The latest notices to Jagan and his auditor are to find out the truth in an intense grilling at the ED's Khan Market's office.

The ED officials claim that they will take affidavits from Jagan after the inquiry and that an arrest may become inevitable only if Jagan refuses to cooperate. The ED officials also reminded how they arrested the then Jharkhand CM Madhu Koda in a similar case.
