Most of his movies are shot simultaneously both in Telugu and Tamil. Even the lyricsts are originals (likes of Veturi) from Telugu.

Even the lyricsts are originals (likes of Veturi) from Telugu. okay. but he's still tamil. he cannot make good movies in Hindi or in Telugu. hell he can't make a decent movie outside his tambram sphere of influence. But he's well read, his movies are progressive, he pays attention to details (not just camera, sound). The only thing his critics have against him is that his outlook on life is too cheerful and he trivialises everything he touches. His grasp of international affairs (which he tried to touch in a few movies - including terrorism), is very pedestrian. as a film maker he probably has no equal at his prime. He suffers from lack of good dialogue writers, and writes his own BS dialogues.
