explore more in mining, warehouse, ML algorithms, HDinsight... Than BI... BI is just an end presentation..

if you want to become a data scientist you have to look around r programming, map reduce, python and so on man .. not Tableau and it's administration.

Bhayya Data scientist antunnav and again Admin training gurunchi vethukuthunnav..am confused bro??

Tableau Development side concentration cheyyi..like designing dashboards, story telling etc..This is more important for Data Scientist..Nenu kuda nerchukuntunna..Tableau common ga aduguthunanru Data scientist positions ki..Because it has good connectivity to Big data Environment(Hive,Spark SQL,R....) and super fast and less learning curve.

Already Dotnet vatchu antunnav kabatti..R,python and Spark meedha concentration cheyyi..I would say go for Python(Because R is very slow) and then Pyspark..Don't learn map-reduce(it is already fading away)..Most of the map-reduce applications ni Spark ki move chesthunnaru(either with scala or python)..I would say 2017 mid or end ki Map-reduce shutdown avuthundhi.

So Python,R,Spark,Tableau,Statistics and ML with R or Python(Scikit learn or Pyspark) nerchuko.

All the Best :)
