If u have WiDi(Wireless Display) support in ur laptop.. Jus go to add devices.. U ll see ur TV listed there..

Widi Intel based laptops Smart TV ki connect cheskovachu. Adi or Miracast edo okati untene possible. Else, you can download your smart TV's proprietary software and connect. Ex: LG ki smartshare. You can play content but can't cast screen.

 

Chromecast if you want to browse/stream on browsers, this is the best option. No effort to set this up.

there is one option man

 

if you want to sleep on bed and control tv.

 

you need to install remote desktop app on your phone and connect to Laptop. Place laptop next to tv and connect to tv using hdmi.

 

now connect your phone to laptop using remote desktop app. you can literally control your lapto from phone, when you click move will play on tv

 

but there is no remote option to play movie from laptop to tv ( except chrome cast)

 

chala simple and easy solution....
