The Central Government has given a nod for the petroleum university in Visakhapatnam and the classes will be started in Andhra University from this academic year only. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has signed an MoU with Andhra University for a period of three years. According to this MoU the facilities of library, laboratories etc of Andhra University can be used by Petroleum University.
