There was hue and cry over the rates of the items being served in the canteen of the Parliament premises and huge discussion was also there in social media too about these cheapest of the cheapest rates for the MPs. The new parliament canteen rate list which shows that the government has finally relented and ended the Rs 16 cr food subsidy for Netas. This after the NewsX campaign which asked the government why the Neta's were getting this food subsidy when the Aam Aadmi is struggling to feed his family on the streets.
