Andhra Pradesh To Spend Rs. 3,846 Crore For Krishna Pushkarams

Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up to conduct the Krishna Pushkarams in a grand manner with preliminary estimates pegged at Rs 3,846 crore for various development works. The river festival which is held once in 12 years, is scheduled to begin from August 12. 

 

 

AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu will conduct a review meeting on the Pushkarams arrangements so on to finalise the budget. The roads and buildings department has sought Rs 1,961 crore while the irrigation department has put forward proposals worth Rs 664 crore.

 

 

The other proposals include municipal administration and urban development worth Rs 970 crore, panchayati raj department Rs 140 crore and health department Rs 48 crore.
