So he can't claim to be a reformer more than Clinton can. He says that he has fought against many of its provisions, and has talked on many occasions about it, but the fact is that he voted on it.

It is the act that put 1000s of african americans behind bars in the mid 90s. Since Sanders has voted on it, after raising several reservations on the floor, he can't claim the moral high ground n this issue. And he hasn't too.

Not just Sanders, I'm afraid unless one is a radical leftist, no white man/woman can come close to understanding the black rage on this issue.
