Take your phone's last digit = x Your birth year = y Now it says: multiply by 2 -> 2x Then add 5 -> 2x + 5 And then multiply by 50 -> (2x + 5 ) x 50 And then add the number 1765 -> (100x + 250) + 1765 The last step; with this number, subtract your birth year. -> (100x + 250) + 1765 - y = 100x + 2015 - y 2015 - y will give your age. You are adding this to 100x. This will obviously give three digits with first one as phone number and rest as age.
